Woo Hoo! I Figured It Out!

When was the last time you had a major “Ah Ha” moment?  I had a big one yesterday and boy did it reset my mindset.

I have been following my passion of sharing positive leadership for years, but never really knew how to explain what AnneU Speaks is all about.  After reading Jo Miller’s book “Woman of Influence” I worked on creating my brand statement (which was way harder than I thought!).   Changing the world one person at a time with positivity

Then….I got stuck. 

When I talk about what I do, my explanation was always I give positive leadership presentations.  True, but not really.  And so not exciting and attention getting.  It didn’t engage conversations, and I had to do too much explaining.  It was just not hitting the mark.

I watched a video yesterday about building your business and it was during the video that my “Ah Ha” moment hit – like a bus!  And it totally fits with my brand statement.  I realized yesterday that I wasn’t a presenter on positive leadership, but a life coach on positivity. 

Everything I talk about is about positive leadership but it isn’t just for your profession.  What I talk about and am passionate about is positivity – period.  You can’t be positive at work if you aren’t positive at home.  You can’t practice positive leadership if you don’t practice a positive life.
